I recall that DanT sparked this question a while back, but couldn't find the thread for it, so I thought I'd give an update.

DanT figured out that he could use Quick Launch Anywhere from within the cc5 environment to access other apps while the th55 remained on the cradle, and at the time I could never figure anything out towards that goal. When I first began using the cc5, it seemed to take me a while to figure out how to get past the errors of using my Bluetooth-enabled TH55/E on my US-spec cc5 cradle (which as you know is not supposed to be supported. . .)

During that time, I had been playing around with Clie Organizer, and had the 'Home' button set to CO. The problem there was that once you got the cc5 software up and running it worked fine until you hit the 'Home' button on the screen or remote--it took you out to the CO! Well, I never really went beyond that because it looked like it really screwed up, changed the 'Home' button preference, and never looked at it again. Until recently!

I found out that by getting back to the CO apps screen (or any other tab you wanted) basically allowed you to access whatever was in that environment! Try it, it works! Contacts, calendar, games, FreeNotes, whatever. You'll notice that the 'Home' screen on the launcher view is actually a hybrid of CO and cc5 launcher--CO on top and the cc5 bottom portion. To get back into the cc5 environment you just have to know what shortcut buttons you set S1, S2, and S3 to and you go directly to them.

So to stay in the cc5 launcher, use your shortcut keys on the remote and press 'Home' on the screen or remote to go to the CO launcher! :)

Sounds great, but I've stopped using the CC5 because SmartST (v1.3) just crashes/resets almost everytime I use it - c.Mgr error. Even with just basic/std software and SmartST - so no other app conflict.... and happens with the CC5 update. So I've switched to TomTom... be nice to either get SmartSt fixed or use GPS in TomTom (I wish!!!)
