LOL, thanks, but it's only simple animation made with Animation Pro! Such a simple effect in mySkin or myKbd would increase the skin size by 5-fold at least!

filber, the peel effect on this DIA is really nice and enjoyable. It might increase the file size; but some of us with the memory wouldn't mind having this touch. lol

All kidding aside, this skin really does look sharp. I like the embossed edges (Photoshop? or GIMP?) and the colors. Have recently been using your Midnight ZL and PR skins and had thought that a DIA would be great!

I love the effect personally, but my intention was to use it to present the preview in an interesting way. Dmitry was able to implement a type of animation into SkinUI, so perhaps it is possible to do the same for mySkin, but only Alex Pruss could tell us for sure. The sheer increase in file size may make it a highly impractible idea. But then again, most modern Palm devices have greatly increased on-board memory...

For the most part, I use Photoshop exclusively. I'm glad you're happy with the Midnight skins, thanks! As for DIA's, well, I just haven't had much time for skinning this year, and DIA's in particular take quite a lot of effort. If not for HPSS, I may not have even bothered doing another. Any skinner who has made a DIA, customized or not, can appreciate how much easier HPSS made the process! I hope to find time for a Winterlake DIA as well, and may even put together Midnight and Winterlake Sony VG's for all the TH55 nutcases...

Beautiful looking DIA. I have a request. Please provide two version of the tri-pane DIA. One with uppercase in the middle as per standard, and one with uppercase on the right. I'm right handed and since most texting is in lowercase, having the lowercase pane in the middle is more efficient, at least for me. I wish there was a way to flip these in any DIA but I believe that it's built into the DIA.

It's a bit odd, actually, now that you bring it up. Palm provides for separate Left and Right handed orientations of the DIA in Landscape mode but not in Portrait. Compiling separate versions isn't any trouble. I just need to find the time to create the DIA graphic.

HI filber, doesn't HPSS allow for one to do just what Fred is asking? Since the skin that your creating would reside on the SD card of most peoples device wouldn't myskin be able to loaded it without any problems; no matter the size? I realize that Alex would have to want to make this a part of his programs programming. But you have to admit it would definitely be a nice touch :D .

The effect is not part of the skin, so mySkin will obviously have no trouble using it. Pruss really needs to be the one to comment on the possibility/impossibility of implementing special effects. (I apologize in advance, Alex...I just wanted to present the skin in a less boring manner!!) :)
