Hi, I'm puzzled about how to get the bluetooh sync going. I start the hotsync on my nx-80v and it locks up. I have to do a soft reset to recover.

I have setup a bluetooth connection to the pee cee. The pairing on the palm seemed to have gone ok. Next I set up a com port on my pee cee and I set up the local serial in hotsync to use it. That's supposed to be pretty much it right?

Well I go back to my palm, press hotsync and whoala.. it locks up. :(

Any thoughts on what to look at?

(Standard cradle sync works fine btw)

I have no experience with your situation, but back when I was using a Tungsten T3, I also had a LinkSys Bluetooth Adapter for my pee cee. It was very difficult trying to get all the settings right for that connection. I don't believe I ever did. I think it would go through the motions, and say it was connected, but couldn't do sync, couldn't surf the web. . .

Just for clarification, are you using a Bluetooth MS, or does the nx80v from Europe (or elsewhere) have BT built-in? I know many do a hotsync via wifi with the obvious difference of a MUCH faster sync time (especially if you're doing AvantGo or ePocrates which goes through the web.) I only ask about that because it might be easier to configure.

I'm using the US NX-80v with the MSB-1 bluetooth card. Works great with my earthmate GPS device, just doesn't seem to sync.

I also have a wi-fi card and syncing through that I know should work since I once tried that with another computer some time back and that went ok.
