I have a Clie Peg-TH55 and the Sony car cradle. All of which I bought from new including Navman Smart ST Pro software but Im not impressed by Navman and Sony have been absolutely useless after I've mad 35 calls for support to Sony Support each time they said they'd ring back and they never have saying that their support staff for Clie's is small and based in Belgium so each time I call they log the call and Ive to await a call back (good job Ive not held my breath for that). So now Im left with a pile of junk unless I can get TT5 to work. Can anyone tell me if or how to get TomTom 5 set up on a Sony Clie.

I run TT5 on TH55.
What problems did you have with SmartST?
You will need - Bluetooth GPS - TT5 can not use the CC5 cradle GPS.
Then you need to upgrade to latested Palm Desktop software - Clie one doesn't support hoe TT5 installs. This will break the CO Sync - but other sync conduits work.
TT5 will install from CD onto MS via HotSync now.
Works fine with BT GPS.

wired gps is supported. if you find a wired gps that fits the connector... (can't be an actual one then...)

I can not get the wired GPS that comes with the CC5 cradle to work with TT5 - are you saying it should work?

No. cc5 and tomtom dont work. Other wired gps with a connector to th55 will do.
cc5 uses a special hardware "feature" (a resistance in the connector or cable or something like that)
There are other threads here describing the problem. Give the search function a chance...
