Stop syncing with outlook and sync with palm desktop

Thanks in advance for any help! Here goes... I've been syncing with outlook for my th-55 for the past couple years, I want to ditch outlook and go back to palm desktop. How do I do this? I've tried reinstalling palm desktop and hard resetting the th-55, no go. I've uninstalled office 2003, reinstalling palm dt and hard resetting th-55, no go. Any ideas? Thanks!

uninstall intellisync (or pocket mirror) and reinstall palm desktop.

Right click on Hotsync Manager (sys tray) and click "Custom." Highlight one at the time: Calendar, Tasks, Memos, Contacts and select "Change." Make sure "Synchronize files" is selected. If they are set and it's not working, try changing this setting ONE-TIME to either "handheld overwrites desktop" or "desktop overwrites handheld," depending on which has the better data.

Thanks. I'll try that when I get home. I do not remember seeing any options for syncing address, calender, contacts and todo for palmdestop only those listings is (outlook).
