I have had a LD for a long time and haven't used it for a long time. For some reason I just got it out, again, charged it up and now want to use it again. What is it about this PDA that keeps bringing me back?? I just love the way it feels in my hands and the way it looks. I also have Treo 700P and a TT5, but now I'm using my LD. Anyone else go through this with their LD or is it just me.....

This is exactly how I feel. A long time ago, I tried liking a TX but it just didn't feel "right" in my hands. My LD, now a bit scratched, is still heavily in use together with my Treo 650. You're not alone. :)

Changed the MD with a CF. My LD has a new life. No more Love-Hate feel any more. Just love it! Just wish it had the TH screen.

Yeah, I haven't used mine seriously in a while, just mainly for MP3, video, and taking notes in church, but lately I'm finding myself drawn to use it more extensively again.

I'm only glad that I didn't sell my LD on Ebay like I have all of my other PDA's when I got tired of them and have moved on to another one. I'm going to keep LD for sure.

Ditto that. I found the intermittent lag annoying but got used to it. But when I changed the MD to CF it was AWESOME! Battery life still sucked until I realized that my WiFi was on all the time. When I turned that off, seemed like battery life quadrupled.

Yeah...I have a love/hate relationship with my LD (more towards love). I think it has the best industrial design of any Palm OS machine I've ever owned (I LOVE the buttons) and I think the functionality is great. Just what I want. I just added a 4gb SD to my Palm (wanted Wikipedia). I just wish it was less finiky with software. It took me about 8 months to get my machine stable (talk about painful), but now I am quite happy I got it. However, I really CAN'T recommend it to a newbie and as a media manager, it needs some better software for multimedia by default.
