I just tried Web Pro and love it. However, everytime I exit the app, I get Fatal Alert: MemoryMgr.c,Line:3571, Non-word-aligned handle.

Does this happen to anyone else and does anyone have an idea of fixing it? Thanks.

I'm using an NX70.

Yes I am. How come?

This still happened before I installed AIM though.

I have found Web ProV to be quite buggy. Others LOVE it. I would like to use it but just causes too many crashes...

Never had a crash with it, could always be something else...

Do you have any ideas for what else it could be? I don't know anything about that fatal alert message. I really like Web Pro so I hope I can fix this.

I have also encountered the "fatal alert" message using WebPro. I was testing the WiFi card at a Starbucks. However, the message appeared during the initial login process. As WebPro flashed the "connecting" message, it was suddenly replaced with the fatal alert message. I tried modifying the homepage URL to go to the t-mobile hotspot website but found that it made no difference.

Should I have modified something else, say in the network settings?

Jim,

Again, I never had a fatal happen with WebPro.

In network settings do you have PowerSaveMode unchecked?

For me, PowerSaveMode is unchecked. I learned that tip from you by reading other threads. Thanks, it really has made my wireless experience much better (esp. with NetFront- i hate it too :)). Web Pro still crashes though.

I wish I had a simple solution for you. It could be almost anything. Try disabling hacks or other drivers. Sometimes things defy logic.

NetFront was nothing, but shear frustration for my brother and me. IE on HPC spoiled us I guess. The PTL errors were just too much...

PowerSaveMode is unchecked. Other browsers, such as Blazer, Netfront, and PocketLink work. I was hoping that someone else may have encountered a similar problem and solved it. Oh well, I think I will stick to what works and not worry too much about WebPro.
