Sony TH55 works with MS 2 GB or no?
If yes, with what models?

Theoretically, there shouldn't be any problem with 2GB on the TH55 - it's the official limit of its FAT driver (there ARE unofficial solutions for 4GB though).
However, from what I've read on this forum and on Sony site itself, there might be problem with Sony's own memory stick of the 1GB/2GB capacities.
The common tip in here from respectable forum members with loads of experience, is to get the SanDisk memory stick - they seem never to fail & they're even cheaper :)

I have a 2 GB Sony Memory Stick (PRO, MagicGate). Works well on my TH's, but it's slower than my other 256 MB (also PRO, MagicGate).

Summary:
2GB MS Pro works in TH55; No problems.
Try for Pearly White/Blue 2GB MSPro - They work best.
Sandisk Black okay.
Avoid Sony Black.
I have three of genuine Sony black 2GB MS Pro Duos and they are all work fine with my TH55s. Even a fake 2GB MS Pro Duo works with my TH55s. A little slow, but it works. Read this 2GB MS with TH55 thread (http://www.1src.com/forums/showthread.php?t=113112). It discussed the same topic in more details.

As I stated in the thread DanT points to, my 2GB MS Pro Sony Black works fine in the TH55, but my laptop card reader will not even acknowledge it (although I can mount it through PC Link). It works in my desktop PC card reader, so go figure?
