Ok, trying to load a video to my plam on sd card . took the sd card out of my cannon camera and put it in my computer and draged and droped the pictures to my pictures including the short video clips. I went to open the clips on my WMP and they play but no sound. I see that the files split audio and video in the folders as there are so files for each video clip . I found this on the knowledge base for WMP.
'You are trying to play one part of a multipart file. Use a newsreader or other program to combine the files, and then try again. "
Where do I get a newreader to try this? How do I combine the files to play them i have never had this problem before, I tryed to reload them back on the sd card and see if I can get it to play on the camera bu no luck...
help

So what you are saying is that your camera stores the video clips it creates as video with seperate audio tracks? What is the default extension for all the files when you copy them from the card?
You may be able to play them using MPClassic, as it supports video files with external audio tracks.

normally my camera loads the file audio and video together as one file and I just transfer it. I went to view it on the palm and in WMP to test the clips and it won't play due to the fact the files some how split. The files are called type is "video clip" the other is " THM file" audio. I need to get a newsreader of some kind according to WMP troubleshoooting and join the two files then I think it will work on my palm after reuploading...

I'm pretty sure you don't need a newsreader; WMP is just confused. A newsreader wouldn't be able to join the files unless they were UUencoded or yEnc, and no camera I know of is capable of saving videos in those formats.
"Video Clip" is super-ambiguous, could you say what the actual file extensions are? If it's MOV, chances are your camera is saving in MJPEG format, which might require a codec to get working in WMP.
Oh, actually, get the Palm version of TCPMP and install -all- it's plugins. It has them for many formats, including those used by most cameras.

Actually, the THM file is just the thumbnail for your videos (try changing THM into JPG and opening it). It is only used in the camera and can be safely deleted afterwards. Video and audio are both definitely stored together in the MPG (or other) files. I've never had this problem before, but you might want to try updating your WMP.
