CF slot too slow for Video?

I have a 512 Lexar 40x Speed Compact Flash card, and it doesn't play video back at 30FPS. I can play the same file on my MS at 30FPS. Is this a problem? Is there a fix?

Lower your vid to 24FPS and see if that helps. I would assume the CF is slower so that MS has an advantage over it.
