What's next?!?!?!?

It's time to start thinking about upgrading my T5. Not really sold on the TX as I still don't believe that it is a true upgrade from the T5. In my view, more of a downgrade (except, of course, for Wi-Fi).

I haven't come across any rumours about what to expect from the next generation handheld from Palm.

Anyone in the know...or is August just too soon for rumours?

If your talking Treo's, then there is alot of talk right now. But I haven't heard anything on the handheld front lately.

TX's implementation of NVFS is supposed to be better - more stable than T5's.

Well I might be movin' over to the Nokia E61, if you wanna join me ;).

The only handheld I think Palm would release is an update to the LifeDrive, but I don't know. The Treo line seems to be the most profitable line for Palm, and thus they focus on that.

I'm still using a treo 600, as it's all the budget will allow. I've looked at a couple of other smart phones: an ipaq, and the motorola Q. What I personally find smart phones lacking, both windows and PalmOS, is a nice chunk of screen real estate. I'd love to have a phone with a form factor more like my T|X. There is the drawback of not having a keyboard, but again, from a personal perspective, I rarely, if ever, use the key pad to dial numbers.
