What he said. I've tried virtually all of them, bought others before finding ZLauncher, and now use ZL exclusively. Nothing else comes close in the combination of features and support from the developer.

Could not say it better. Exactly my opinion. I tested and unfortunately bought a bunch of launchers until i came to ZLauncher, which is best for me now.

can ZL emulate all hardware-buttons correct?
I mean including 'long button press starts another application'?

The only button that ZL customizes is the Sony back button under the jog dial. A long button press on it can do a variety of things. Palm OS handles the other buttons, and you can customize them in the Palm Preference application under the Buttons dialog.
