I know there are a few ways to do this but....

I was viewing an image fullscreen in RescoViewer and decided to launch an app using TealLaunch. The result is the status bar is removed and you get more screen real estate as "most" of the apps you launch will take advantage of the extra space.

This is the fastest way I know of doing this. Also, if you have an image category in appshelf you can do it very fast!

Any other "tricks" like this?

How do you do this in appshelf? I have been looking for a way to remove/hide the status bar within appshelf and can't...

I don't have mykbd, but I do have myskin. Is this an option there? If so, this might be a good plan B if I can't figure out how to make appshelf do it.... Thanks :)

there's a free DA on palmgear called "StatBar"...I think it's in "Tiny DAs" package or something...it does just that :)

The best way to have a quick status bar toggle in AppShelf is to put the StatBar DA into the MiniPad.

I hotsynced StatBar to my TX, and it shows up in FileZ. But, it doesn't show up as an application in appshelf, so I can't add it to my minipad. Is appshelf a "da launcher" or do I need to add one to appshelf? What am I doing wrong? Thanks!

I use an app called PowerDA, set it to a button that only is useful to Japanese users, then press that button and select StatBar.

Thanks for the advice :) I discovered that mySkin has that capability, and I don't have to add anything else.

I thought that MyKbd required a current Palm, and wouldn't work on a Clie TH55?
