Anyone know how to get Pocket Tunes Deluxe to work with Windows Media Player 11? I was very disappointed to learn that it doesn't, and NormSoft hasn't responded to my inquiries. I can no longer download DRM music to Palm, or even update my licenses for stuff that's already loaded!
NormSoft's current solution is to roll back to WMP10, but I really don't want to do that.

The better question might be, "Are they ever going to support the WMP11 codec? The 11 WMA Pro codec has even better compression than 9 (and blows away the other formats), but it currently isnt supported by any players. To answer your question, yes, they will have to support it soon, because at somepoint MS will start their full scale rollout of WMP11. You really cant expect Normsoft to support another companys beta software.

I'd like to know what formats of WAV files PT supports? I tried WAV's from two different devices and neither works in PTD v3.1.5.

Yes, I can. I paid for it, and now it doesn't work. WMP11 recognizes plenty of other portable players; why not my Palm? Seems like it wouldn't take much of a patch for NormSoft to fix this problem. The company's online support is really poor, IMHO, and they've had months to come up with a patch.

Your argument is spurious. It did not support Windows Media 11 when you purchased it, so it cannot now be broken. You chose to purchase it based on the features it had at the time.
Anyway, from what I've been reading on the WM11 SDK, Microsoft has certain requirements from companies regarding DRM support, in order to support decoding the Windows Media format in commercial software. This might be one problem, as the Palm platform does not have Microsoft's "PlaysForSure" certification. Well actually, the Palm Treo 700w does. That's about it.
