MSBackup missing entry???

Hey, I recently moved the files from my Memory Stick to my computer. (including the MSBackup folder) I also deleted the restore entry in MSBackup. Now I have put the MSBackup folder back on the memstick but there is still no entry. I thought it would show up when there is a folder in the MSbackup directory. But now I am thinking it cleared that bkSetInfo file?

Is there a way to restore my TH without the entry in MSBackup?

Any ideas?

I'm not sure if it'll work, but rename the backup folder to "1", make a backup that'll create the bkSetInfo file, delete the resulting "0" folder and rename "1" to "0".

But does bkSetInfo have any backup specific information? Or just the size/date of each backup?

Size, Date and PDA Serial no. AFAIK.

MSBackup is a very primitive program - If you wish to restore from it, you can literally use FileZ (or similar) to copy all the files fromthe MSBackup\0 folder into your Internal RAM and then do a soft reset to duplicate its effect!

Good idea, I didn't think to install any apps after the hard reset, just tried the built in file mgr.

Anyways I've about got it mostly back to normal from a month old backup.
