Not at all. This Palmgear link should explain it.

It is possible that older versions needed a runtime engine.

So if you have already purchased PowerRun, how do you get an upgrade? I purchased mine via PalmGear.

If you purchased powerrun you have a keyfile on your palm/clie. If you download the new version from http://www.simple-palm.com/ and install it over the old one you have the recent one installed on your device.
BUT: the new beta has a time limit that has nothing to do with the sharewarestatus! I will run until 5/15/2003 due to beta reasons. If you don´t really need the new features at the moment you should wait for the final version and install that one.

At least thats what i will do.

Until then i will have a look at Hacker Dude-san´s site from time to time and see if there is some progress on the new version...

thanks for that information! but do i have to uninstall the old version first, or would the new replace the old one automatically?
