The RealOne player is even worse than Audio Player.

Share the same sentiments. They just can't seems to get their player working well on many platforms.

Its a bad MP3 player, but all of them are bad because the Tungsten is such a terrible device at playing back music.

Exactly :D Tungsten-T audio playback sucks, alarm sucks, the sound sucks! The Clie Polyphonic/Monoraul speakers are very much more superior compared to any other! :D

Ever since I found out that Real uses Spyware to track your listening preferences and the sites you go to I haven't installed or even looked at anything from Real. Another example of a company that doesn't respect it's customer base.

Didn't they remove the spyware after customer complaints?

You're kidding right? They track what you listen to and where you been? Well, I havn't registered my version of the RealOne player yet, does that make any difference?

Nope, they still track it. And what was really disgusting for me is that they completely denied it, even when someone found proof of it they said something to the effect of that it was put there by accident. I don't know if they've gotten rid of it, but I've never gone back. Not worth it in my opinion
I am keen to load realaudio file into my TG50. I can find a converter to date. I though of loading Realone player into my TG50 hoping that it can resolve my problem. Can someone enlighten me will this work?
Can Realone player play on TG50?

Real player - in my opinion - has entered the "Virus" category....
Case in point - my brother wanted me to look at his PC because his wife had installed RealOne to watch some sort of video clip, and now one of the traffic camera sites he uses regularly didn't work anymore. So, I notice that RealOne has associated itself with every conceviable file type on the system ... so I go into Windows Media Player, and make it the default player for all video files. We went back to the traffic camera site and all was good.
We stepped out into the kitchen to grab a beer, chatted about something for a few minutes, and then went back into his office. When we got back, and tried to launch the traffic camera site again - it was broken.
There was a little Real program running in the background that would constantly re-program the system - in real-time - to use RealOne for all media files. I had to root through the system registry to find the offending program and remove it.
We rebooted. All was good. Real was not the default anymore. But just out of curiosity (knowing my sister-in-law would probably launch it again) I launched the main player app again. Sure enough, it re-associated itself as the default player for all media types, and it re-installed that little background program back into the registry to launch at startup.
Real is a virus. They've crossed the line as to what is acceptable behavior for a program - avoid them at all costs. If I go to a site that requires Real (i.e.: cnn.com), I'll go elsewhere to get my content.

Wow. That's both immoral and illegal.
How disgusting.
