View Full Version : 700P IR keyboard
I have a Zire 72. I broke the IR module changing my battery. (I know, it isn't anywhere near the battery.) I used an IR keyboard ALL the time; I use my 72 like others use a laptop. The 700P has all the features of the 72. Does anyone know if it will support an IR keyboard? I also like the idea that the 700P has an external battery (some of us should not be around the insides of electronic devices).

Yes it does support an IR keyboard. The Palm keyboard drivers were updated for that version and I think Targus also updated their drivers as well.
Thanks Antoine. I am liking the 700p the more I read about it.

this is random put in here but. A good program that I use on my wireless keyboard is called rotation. It allows u to set your 700p on the side in your keyboard and type docs easly. I use and is handy. Just a suggestion if you were interested. Sorry I need to clarify it allows u to rotate your screen for any app.
You answered a question before I voiced it. I used Rotation on my Z 72 with my keyboard. I was wondering if it worked on the 700p. It is a great program allowing you to put it on its side giving greater stability to the unit as it sits in the keyboard. Thanks for your posting.
