Desktop won't open due to ToDo List

I can not open desktop software due to "error cannot open To Do List' I have uninstalled and reinstalled x 2. I cannot find the "bad" file. Sony has been no help. This is a Clie SJ20. I use the desktop software a lot and am lost without it. I also need to install some new stuff to the card. Can anyone help? thanks, Lois

Lois:

Try going to the folder where the to do list is stored and renaming it. So, my to do list is found in the following directory:
c:\program files\sony handheld\username\todo (username = the hotsync name you use)

Inside that folder is a file, todo.dat. That is probably the file that is corrupt. Try renaming it todo.old.

Then go to your desktop and see if it will open now.

If it does, do a hotsync, that should restore your todos from the Clie.
