View Full Version : Solution to T3 voice memo accidental press

The T3's voice memo button is a flawed design, it protrudes way too much so it easily gets accidentally pressed. The solution, recess it by grinding down the nub that presses on the microswitch on the motherboard:

Wow, that is an extreme solution. Those of us who don't want to take the chance of permanently damaging anything usually use something like the freeware Disable Buttons (http://www.freewarepalm.com/utilities/disablebuttons.shtml). Works like a charm on my T3. I never have accidental voice memo activations.

i like the way you both see thing but i prefere the ideal of clocker i dont like to presse by accident the voice button and i like to wake up my palm with the dates button

so disable button is not for me :D

I just reassigned the button to open ZLauncher. Simple, easy solution.

Well I ground it up a bit more now the button is flush with the body. No more accidental presses!
