Hello guys I just signed up for this site, which seems to be a goods source for info. Anyway, I just got the SJ-22 and tried using the emulator, and simulator, neither of which worked with the ROM image that I downloaded from the Clie. When I run the Clie Palm Sim(that I got off sonys site) with the SJ22_ROM (that I got directly from my clie) it loads up a screen and locks everything up for about a minute, then I get the following error message
"Failed to initialize: The SJ22_ROM file is not a V6 Palm rom file"
I am thinking that I need an earlier version(or at least one that is compatible with the SJ-22) of the emulator or simulator. NOTE that the SJ22 uses PalmOS 4.1 NOT 5. Is this the source of the problem?
Also I would like to know which platform to select while using this simulator. When I first start the program, you choose between PalmIII, IV, Visors, and a long list of others, but Clies are not listed. Palm III is defaulted, is that what I should be using?
Has anyone developed for the SJ Series, What Sim/Em did you use? Tips/Tricks...
