BlueTooth Modem for NZ90

Picked up the COOOOLEST modem today, a BlueTooth modem.

Finally somebody is doing something cool with the bluetooth connection in my Clie... (GRIN)

Works like a charm, took me about 3 minutes to set it up after breaking the box open.

I found it when I stopped by ENR Tech in Burbank California to pickup a IR modem for my Clie, the IR modem is a lot cheaper, but need to be in line of sight and about 3 feet away from the clie. (or less) The BlueGate modem have about 30 feet range. I have deemed it to be the ultimate hookup for hotel rooms, in the future I will be hooking this to the phone line in the room and dialing from my NZ90.... YEAH.

I been itching to get one of these to fetch email and checking forums. Mobile planet has something similar but suppose to have a longer distance to be used with the bt pda. I think I can't remember now, getting old.

Bo will this modem also work with a laptop that has bluetooth? And is the speed just about 56k or what?

I'm sure it will but it does not hurt to ask.

Yes it works with the laptop also and it is a 56k modem. Using it is sooo painless... It really was a pleasure to setup this baby.
