Hello everyone!
I want to ask a question about how to efficiently power up my TH55.
The power slide is not very handy for me. I want to use Capture or the left or right key to power up my clie.

The problem is, I install Default Capture, and I cannot find where to execute the program.
I then use SharkBtn instead, but those keys are not responding. With SharkBtn ONLY three keys respond when system is off: Datebook, Memo and ToDo key. All other keys work well when my PDA is already power-up, but they're useless when PDA is off.

Could anybody tell me how to solve the problem?
And by the way, where can I download TheGOGO english version? All links seem to be broken.

How did you get Default Capture to your TH55?

Default Capture does not show up in the launcher. Instead, check Preferences.

Use PowerCapture (also by Sharky) with YAHM ... you have to go into YAHM to see it.

I use THe Go! Go! for over 2 years now. It is the only one tha can power off from System Lockout screen. I use several DAs like LinfoDA, stopwatch, LClipDA, ToDoDA, SharkScanDA, VolumeDA, RPNLiteDA, SnapCalc5, from outside the system security by poping up the DA over the system lockout screen for a quick look up without the hassle of entering my password before using it. For example checking the battery level, free memory, scanning hotspots, muting alarm volume before going to a meeting, using calculator, etc. I can just press the Capture button to power on, do a quick status bar swipe to launch the DAs (via SharkSwipeTH), do the look up, then press the Capture button again to power off. Very slick and quick. All done outside the system security and I keep the rest of the system secured.

If anyone needs TH3 Go! Go! in English, just send me a PM.

If anyone needs TH3 Go! Go! in English, just send me a PM.Fortunately, that's incorrect. PowerCapture with YAHM also has that capability. I just tested it to be sure. At the lockout screen it will turn on/off with the capture button. Even after a soft-reset! (as long as you wait for it to load) At that point, I also use Sharky's fabulous SharkSwipeTH to lauch DAs from the status bar.

The main advantages of THeGo!Go! :
It will allow you to change the fourth hard button to power on the device and launch an application (but is no longer necessary after you do this.

It also has the best notification of when you leave your camera lens open.

It also works perfectly. In some applications, using PowerCapture will bring you to the Clie Camera application when you press the capture button instead of powering off. In most cases however, it works just fine.

Unfortunately, the main disadvantage is that is slows your TH55 down (in terms of response to keypresses) This can be measured using the PalmInternals app (also on palmoid.com with YAHM)

I used THeGo!Go! for a LONG time, until I realized how slow my TH55 was getting along with other hacks. The TH55 is slow enough without it. I used to have to disable it everytime I wanted to play the LJP emulator app.
With PowerCapture, I don't.

That's good to know. Thanks for sharing the info. I don't know about PowerCapture. I tried DefaultCapture, SharkBtn, ZLauncher, and TealLaunch. None of them can do it.

How do you map the 4th button without THeGoGo? I need this.

The last time I used TheGoGo, I remapped the 4th button to my address book, then deleted theGoGo, and the address app remap still worked. Apparently, the button pref just needed to be written once to the clie.

I also had problems with Powercapture working in some apps. If it was more bulletproof, or if I could configure exclusions, then I'd switch programs in a heartbeat. On the other hand, default capture has been pretty bug free on my setup. Just my .02 cents.

When I installed Datebk5 (or now, Datebk6) it asked to control the buttons. I said yes, and the 4th button is now mapped to Memo. No TheGoGo, nor any of the others mentioned above are on my device. Just an FYI in case you want Memo for your 4th button.

One more thing: see if MapButtons will do anything for you.

(This was not for the 4th button, but is to re-map camera capture and voice recorder)
