Lets hope Palm OS stays with the program and does not throw in the towel to Windows.

And by-God, they should!
You can say that again. I only have a lowly 600, but it's the best phone AND the best PDA I have EVER USED, let alone owned. :)

The 700P is the closest thing to a true Smartphone that I have ever seen let alone used. With the exception of a few livable flaws, it is the perfect device for me and it does everything I need it to do generally without incident. (Unless I'm showing off and doing a demo for someone. Then, nothing fuggin' works right!!)

Despite all the tiny tiny percentage of PDA users who are up in arms about how PalmOS is a dinosaur and FrankenGarnet died back in 2004...lookee here.
I'm not surprised. Treos aren't perfect, but they are good enough. And that sells too (although some may argue the WinMob devices are slowly gaining ground). Hey, some power users scoff at the idea of using a Tungsten E2, but look, it's the best selling one of them all!
