How to get rid of quaduplicates?

My contact folder has over 4 enteries for each contact. I went threw and edited this on outlook . How do I get rid of the duplicated contacts on my palm with out changing the outlook entries?

Before hotsyncing with your desktop, change the Contacts (Outlook) conduit action to desktop overwrites handheld.

thats it. ok, what about the palm conduits do i have to do anything with them? This will delete all the extras??? :confused:

what do you mean ? If I switch the conduit, how do you get rid of duplicates twice?

there was an app back in os 3.5 days that deleted contact duplicates. i think it is still on freewarepalm.com

There's also undupe on Palmgear (~ $10).

Since you mentioned that you already removed the duplicates in Outlook, what you want to happen is for your Outlook Contacts to "overwrite" your Palm Contacts database. Right-click on the hotsync icon on the notification area of your taskbar, then click on "Custom ...", look for and click on the "Contacts (Outlook)" conduit, click the "change" button on the right-hand side of the dialog box, and then select "Desktop overwrites handheld".

Click done, then hotsync.
