Megalauncher 4.0 beta testers

Thought I would start this thread back up again. Maybe Megasoft will see us waiting (im)patiently and get back to work on this.

Agreed, Tanker_Bob. I've heard nothing since the last beta release last year. I had hoped that Megasoft would provide some real competition to Zlauncher, but it looks like it won't be happening any time soon!

Since ZL is "lapping" the other launchers, Megasoft is probably in no hurry to take 2nd place. Guess you can't blame them. ZL is a tough act to follow.

Ya, and i find that when most people whom have paid for the app,in this case ZLauncher, they wont pay for another Launcher unless the new Launcher really kick butts.

At the rate that ZL updates..........Launcher developers will be raising the "white flag" very soon. They're already behind the curve.

I'm helping MegaSoft to complete the official Chinese version again.
Just got the resource file from them. I think I can complete it within 3 days.
Then after furthur testing. Version 4.0 is going to be released around the
end of this month.

Some new features I found so far.

1. Better performance.
2. Support OS5's Hi-Density API. So it works on TT and s50/s60.
3. More customized system info display.
4. Wallpaper and skin is supported in this version.
5. More stable, I haven't encourntered any system crash on TT and s60 so far.

It seems MegaSoft has completed the job and enter the last stage ......

Curious about the date of that quote. Sound like the way a lot of us felt a couple of months ago.
