Hello people! I'm quite new to using programs for palm devices. I just got my Tungsten T3 last summer. I'd like to know what DIA is? How do I change the background? How do I use skins? With the T3 I've gone to only installing applications to my tungsten T3.

DIA is the little toolbar at the bottom, so I hear. But I could be wrong. :)

Check the garnet thread below for details on getting a background as that is NOT a default feature on the T3. Skins. . . find a launcher.

Hey there! Welcome to 1src! I applaud your choice of a T3, but then again, I'm a bit of a T3 fanatic myself :p

To answer your question about the DIA, it stands for "Dynamic Input Area". If you tap the little icon in the farthest lower right corner of your screen, you'll see a writing area pop-up. If you tap and hold on to that icon, you can choose between 3 different types of input area: Keyboard, Wide Writing Area, and Classic, which has four application icons that you can configure on the sides (likewise, by tapping and holding on them). Tapping on the "abc" "123 "ABC" labels will also change to a keyboard or a numerical keypad.

Anyways, a good place to start would be to browse our "Garnet on a T3" thread and the "T3 FAQ" here. A lot of the info that helped me out as a T3 newbie a few months ago I found here. Happy searching!
