I am getting a bunch of emails with rather huge
attachements, but i am very much interested in using
the clié as emailreader/writer (especially with wLAN).
Sadly i have yet to find a program which is able
to leave attachments on the server when i am
not willing to download it, but which is able to
work with and download them, when i need the
feature.

Anyone of the palm OS guru's around who knows
such a prog ?

Regards,
Adhemar

I use Eduora Internet Suite. It's free. The browser is crap. You can set the email app to retreive as much or as little of your emails as you want. Mine basically retrieves the headers and a few lines. If you then like what you see you can select to have Eduora go back and retrieve the rest of those specific emails.

I would also look at Snapper Mail (www.snappermail.com). It's totally configurable and can be set to only download the message, part of the message or the whole message. You can even 'mark' messages later for downloading the attachments. I love it.

ClieMail allows you to define how many lines to download as well.
