T|C malfunction?

I put a new LCD screen to a unit since the last one cracked and it's not working. Unit gets hot when plugged in so mobo is running, but when I put in a battery, it makes a really bad smell. Even so, with or without the battery, LCD displays nothing. Anything?

Send to Chris Short if you can. Are you sure it is the correct LCD screen? Are you sure it is in right?

Yeah. I've worked on dozens of Tungstens and this one is fully decked out correctly. I'm thinking I'm going to try to cracked one again.
