Just in case anybody is interested, I'm using a 4GB CF card on my NX70V/G using Pelaca's CF_Utility and the modified FAT32 driver for NX73s from http://www.1src.com/forums/showthread.php?p=932893#post932893

Actually, the 4GB card is a 4GB SD card in a CF-Type2 adaptor.

It is interesting that Palm OS 5 and 4 both use the same driver...

The reason it works is that the NX70V/G is PalmOS5.0

That's OK. It's the memory that's first to go ;)

The reason I've gone to the trouble getting >2GB memory cards working in my Clie, is that I haven't found an organiser that has better features and/or form than the NX70. Good sized screen, great size and shape (found the NX73 and NX80 uncomfortably fat because of their camera).

I was also an early adopter of the Eurware (Athena) CF memory driver, but now have migrated to Pelaca's driver so that I can more easily access both memory cards via "Data Import"

All my day-to-day files are on a 1GB MS-ProDuo, and the rest are on now the 4GB SD card.

The only downside using the FAT32 driver is that it AudioPlayer and MoviePlayer no longer work. Don't miss MoviePlayer, as I've been using TCPMP for a number of years, but AudioPlayer was a good program, especially that it allowed music to be played in background while using other apps. I can play mp3s via TCPMP, but can't read (Plucker) ebooks, or work on Word/Excel at the same time.

regards,

Michael

PocketTunes can play music in the background :) (but, alas, it isn't free :()
