WhineHack really gets rid of LD screen whine

Just wanted to share with you my excitement over the new freeware WhineHack application. My LifeDrive has had the inevitable, infamous Palm screen whine problem for months, and it was getting to the point where I was considering opening the LD up to separate the digitizer from the screen a bit with clear overhead projector sheets to stop the feedback.

Fortunately, WhineHack has arrived, and it really works in eradicating screen whine. It's geared toward LifeDrive and TX users. I can't believe the difference. Has anyone else here tried it? Yep it works great for my LD too - to be honest I'd not been that bothered by the whine that much ...until it was gone. Then I wondered how I had tolerated it. The names he has given to the various strengths of silencer are fun too as is the icon.

There have been some warnings about this app in the thread in the "applications" section so anyone reading this thread should read that too. However Mike Chicago you posted first! and the LD does often have a particularily nasty whine.

Anyway I like the app enough to leave it on my device despite the warnings - just thought there ought to be a cross reference here.
