I'm looking for some ways to cut down on my cell phone minutes each month and was wondering how many people are signed up for a voicemail forwarding service that sends your messages to your inbox? Seems like it would save a lot of those useless charges I get on my phone. I think I'm going to try the free service through Got Voice. Has anyone heard of this service, or do you use any other forwarding systems?

Is it that inexpensive for your cellphone? I know that Vonage has call forwarding...

The thing I like about GotVoice is that I can sign up for free forwarding. Saves me spending money on calling my voicemail all the time.

yeah, I'm wirth Forest on this one -- I think most carriers will charge a small bucketload. Probably incremental charges and then a flat fee [my SMS costs me $10 a month]

Thanks BoxWave, that's what I thought. I guess there are always different options if you want to pay extra.

Also, did a search and found a review of Got Voice on CNET if anyone's interested - Review (http://reviews.cnet.com/4531-10921_7-6534861.html?tag=blog)
