Coming from a TH55, I've always used HRcapt to take screen shots. However, on the Treo 650, I need the combination of Graffiti Anywhere, DALauncher and HRcapt for it all to work.

Given the small memory and NVFS stability issues, I've been looking for an alternative and came across QuickTake from Toysoft (www.toysoft.ca). It seems to be ok in terms of stability but I've only be using for a day or two.

i) Does anyone have any views on the relative stability of HRcapt v. QuickTake.

ii) Are there any other screen capture programs I should be looking at? Ideally I'd like one that can run from the memory card.

I just use McPhling and HRCapt, and assign McPhling to a hard button. This allows me a quick launch list from which to activate the DA as well as other applications I pick as FAVORITES.

I know I'm on a 700p, and it's not quite the same thing for OS as a 650, but for me, it's very stable.

Derek,

Thanks for suggesting McFling. I'd also discovered that PetitLauncher (http://pam-ya.com/) will launch DAs and I've been using this very successfully with HRcapt, so QuickTake has been uninstalled.

Thanks,

Andrew

I use Screenshot5 and I'm very happy with it.

ZGrab is another I had some success with.
