midi interface

Does anyone know of a hardware/software combination
that would let me use the NX as a MIDI sequencer/perfor-
mance controller? Of course, it's probably powerful
enough to do real-time arpeggiation as well if there
was an IN port but a sequencer would be a good
start.

With the mic on the NX I wonder if there is a gitaur tuner utility for the Clie.

I checked them out and found:

One of their links led me to pcables.com
item # PDCT-F3W which sounds like it
could work on the hardware side--I'll
get one and try it out.

Their demo composition program produces
no output on the built-in NX MIDI synth on
my unit but I will try the cable to see if
it will drive an external synth module.

Their beat program does produce output
on the NX but is limited to 16-beat
phrases and two channels (drum +
melody).

I will continue the search.
