I tried Dmitry's PowerDigi to calibrate my T5, but it made the calibration worse :(. My pen input is now out by about 1 inch from where it should be! Is anyone else experiencing this? Am I doing something wrong or is there a workaround?

you are. recalibrate in "accurate" mode. press targets firmly (do not lower stylus onto screen slowly, do it fast and firm). the app does not verify input ( or really messed up digitizers wouldn't be fixed) thus any messups in calibration just yeild no errors but weird resuLt.

Hi ledge00, I have tested this on my Tungsten T3. This program completely fixed the lower screen digitizer problems I was having. One note that might help , the early version I tried required you to push a hard button once the stylist was on the cross hairs. I don't know if there have been changes to how calibration is set, but again this program worked flawlessly for me. Thanks for taking the time to create this excellent program dmitrygr!!!

Hey Dimitry, do you think PowerDigi will work on a Z71?
I've got two digitizers that are not behaving properly. One is about 1/4 of an inch off -specially down the middle- and the other worked perfectly well until one day when it started writting by itself between the top and middle of the screen. Seems like a ghost that was Palm-addicted while alive got hold of it :D
Thanks in advance!

It has a 14 day trial, so you might as well give it a shot. Again, I should add that as Dmitry says, strong presses are important. Digitizers often give incorrect coordinates when they are pressed lightly, even worse if you have a screen protector.

Man, what a sweet app! Thanks! It worked great on my 2 year old T3! :)
You saved me from buying a TX to replace it with.
My 3 year old T3 is another story though as it is just too messed up I guess, because the graffiti area is up and it seems I have no way to get to the full screen, so it didn't fix that one, but it still improved the drift. Just wish I could get it going again too. :(
Thanks again for a great program!

I hope it does work on 320x320 devices, I didn't even think of trying it out on my old TT because the description specifically emphasied 320x480 screen sizes. I may blow the dust off of my TT and see if it works.

Dmitry specifically states in another thread that this won't work on 320x320 yet. And that he is working on getting that support completed. I have a T2 that I am hoping this will fix.

Thanks for the post. That is good news that he is working on a 320x320 fix though.

Dmitry, is powerdigi supposed to perform a soft reset after callibrating? My TX resets everytime I finish the callibration process and when the reset is complete my digitizer is still offby about 1cm in areas.....
