I installed it, but I couldn't find the icon anywhere. Is this because of the memory needs of Netfront when installing that I read in a different thread? I have about 5.3 MB free.

I end up not seeing an icon anywhere, but having Netfront_inst (or something like that) in memory.

Yes, you need 6.0 or more megs free to install NF.

Delete what you can or move Apps. to MS to give you 6 megs free the  install NF, soft rset. Then replace everything.

Good Luck

OK, now that I've installed it ... I don't suppose there's a way to import my bookmarks from IE?

Don't bother trying. You may be uninstalling it after you get feed up with the "Page Too Large" errors and resets.

I use WebproV and Blazer. They both will run from your memory stick.

I opted for WebProV after trying NetFront and PocketLink.

Does anyone know where I can buy these browsers? Someone here has written that they are both good alternatives to the gargantuan NetFront, and I'd like to install one of them. I tried Googling, but it didn't lead me anywhere.

Thanks,

Stan

I saw Blazer at Handango, but I couldn't find WebProV.

Msanto.. unfortunately none that I know of.

BUT...... you could do this, although it's tedious maybe you could only do the following for some of your more imp. bookmarks.....

Email yourself the links since you have a WiFi connection I'm sure you have your clie mail set up to download, or you could have the email's synced during your next HOTSYNC. Open the email with your links in it and tap on the link, if you are using ClieMail you should get a request to  open up this link with NetFront, then you could just save it as a bookmark when it loads. I guess if you really wanted to you could cut and paste all your links into a few diff. emails and then save that mail and do them as you get time.

Good Luck!

I hope that helped!!
