Is it possible to compress an entire movie small enough to fit on a 128 mb memory stick? I just got an sj33 and want to watch some movies.

It's been done, but not easily. I tried it but it just took too long, so I gave up. I would imagine that in order to get it under 128mb, the quality would be so low that it would be less than enjoyable. But I don't know...

You can fit around 90 minutes at pretty good quality. I have done several full movies. If you cut off the credits a lot of movies fit in that space.

For normal 24 FPS movie stuff, try 12 FPS, 160K video rate, default Clie audio (33K).

Kinoma works best with Quicktime, so if you can convert your movie to a high quality QT file it works a little better.

Good luck.

You mean Kinoma can play QT files? Or just using QT files with Kinoma Producer? It's because I'm trying to find a way to compile videos in a way that the PC can still open them. Besides, I think that the fact that Kinoma Producer Trial works just for 1 day... :-(

The trial is truly pathetic. It lasts a few days, and only lets you convert 15 seconds. Really gives people a bad feel for the product.

" a few days"?? I installed mine, and it said "Trial version - 1 Day left"!
however (this goes off-topic ;) )...

Just use the clieviewer. It's perfect. So easy to work with and has much better picture quality. On Kinoma everybody looks like zombies.
