Hi guys ! Great thing going on here. Another reason why i got my Clie yesterday :)
Got a Tg50-g and a 128mb Memory Stick for RM 1700 +
Great PDA (could be also because its my first - after months and months of using one through the clie emulator *sigh*)
Questions :
1) is there a virtual keyboard built in ? How do i activate it ?
2) found out that i do not have DTG also ..
3) how come kinoya player movies do not come with sound ?
4) how can i config hotsync to work, besides COM 1 and 2 ? i can't see my virtual COM ports. Am using a USB hub ..
thanks a lot guys !

1) There is no virtual keyboard. When you are on the screen where you want to enter characters you can invoke the grafitti input by holding the last button with a magnifying glass. Eventually if you are find troublesome you can install Grafitti Anywhere to write on the screen instead. You can find GA in palmgear and it is a shareware.
2) There is no DTG in the package. However the picsel viewer is able to view doc and pdf if you want. Two taps and with a drag you can zoom in and zoom out. Otherwise, I sugguest you go and borrow the CD found in the NZ, NX or SJ33. From there you can get the DTG.
3) I am not sure Kinoma player can play with sound but I do know TG comes with a great movie player and a software called image converter. It can converts .mov and .mpg into mpeg4. You then be able to view movie with sound definitely.
4) For this, I guess someone could answer that. For me I install the Palm desktop and then the Export software. Then I plug in my hotsync cable into USB and that's it. I tap on the hotsync and recognised straightaway.
Hope I clarifies your doubt.

Tried uploading movies using the built-in player .. its excellent :)
On the downside, it could not recognise more 'native' microsoft formats like asf and wma. but not a big deal :). Do you think it would be able to play a whole movie on the clie ? tried putting in a 40mb QT movie but it just crashed my machine when i tried to play it.
I checked out the clie support website FAQ and it mentioned that the syncing must be done on the physical COM ports and it would not work on virtual COMs ... thanks for your speedy reply ! :)
Am going to try Graffiti Anywhere now !
