The tg50 can only play mp3s that are 32kbps or higher... Is that a software limitation or hardware?

I ask because I've got a lot of non-music mp3s that are 24kbps and I have to convert them... it's just a pain.

I've heard (though haven't tried) that AeroPlayer and anything else doesn't work on the CLIE... Anyone know if 3rd party mp3 software will work at some future time? I know sony has been tight lipped about the API calls and all, but...

Tight-lipped? That's putting it lightly! I'd love to have a compatible Ogg Vorbis, or WMA Audio Player but until we see Sony release the API's for their DSP chip we will never see any.

Are you using OpenMG Jukebox?? Just curious if it comes with the TG50.

TG50 comes with Sonicstage. Sames functionality with OpenMg.

Do you think Sony is working with a few companies exclusively to create Clie-only programs? That could be why they have not released the APIs yet.

I found a program on download.com called SoundEditPro....works really good for converting music tracks :)

Whats the difference between SonicStage and OpenMG?

Will my current version of OpenMG for my network walkman work for the TG50?
