durability of screen rotation

Is there a cable between the 2 halves of the Clie ? If so, everytime you open and rotate the screen you flex the cable. Is there a life expectancy for that cable ?

If you're worried about the cables breaking because of all that flexing, you needn't worry at all. The plastic casing will stiffen with time, but "time" is many, many years. The metal wires within the cable are flexible, and since you're not really stretching them much, they too will last until you break or sell your NR70/V. I'd worry alot more about accidentally breaking the screen rather than the cables.
