Does resetting often messes it?

Does resetting the LD often (>5 times x day) messes the HD, OS, something?

As with any electrical or mechanical device, the more you use it the shorter its lifespan. A reset does work the HD rather hard for the 2.X minutes the reset takes. One of the things it is doing during the time is it is performing the CHKDSK operation on two of the partitions on the drive (the virtual RAM partition and the lifedrive storage partition).
