I know this is might sound like a dumb question, but I need some help. I have a SonyNX70 with wifi Lan card. I have set up my wifi network with Clie Mail so I can send email directly from my NX70. What do I have to do to connect to the internet? Have I missed something? HELP

You have to install NetFront from your CD .

Let me know how it runs. I dont have a WiFi card yet but loves surfing with Opera on my Zaurus..

The one that came with the NX70v. It's in the little green sleeve. It's in there. Just explore the CD and you'll find the right app.

There are multiple browers available. You can even use AvantGo beta5 as a browser.

One caveat, you need 6-8 mb's free RAM to install NetFront!

This might sound abit off topic....

But, can you surf the net while your NX is in its cradle and the PC hooked up to an ISP?

I can surf in or out of the cradle via WiFI, independantly of the PC :)!

Here is an app that allows surfing through the cradle: http://www.synclive.com/ppp/

Some have claimed that it works and there is a back thread on it somewhere in this forum.

No, im actually referring to surfing without a WiFi card and still in the cradle.......

I just want to see how my NX70V would go surfing the net

where do you get 6-8 mB to run Netfront? I have a little over 8 MB left without Netfront on the thing. What a pile of crap.

You NEED 6-8 megabytes free to install it!!!
