Mail and Lookup feature

Is there a way to make the lookup function work in the Palm Mail application? I was trying it out when I discovered that it doesn't work on my CLIE. I would open a new message and type in a name in the TO: area and then run Lookup. Nothing came up. I tried it without a name in the TO: area and by clicking on the TO: and trying it in the new window. Does anyone have any suggestions? I also tried using Iambic Mail.
