Since you (talking to SONY), can't give your APIs info, why you don't release an ATRA3CPlus update for our CLIEs. I Just bought an MSPro 256MB and what a shame: even thoug it says "magic gate" it doesn't wanna read ATRAC3 files. Do an update or just give all your APIs (all of them), info so developers can write audio/video players.

I have given up trying to figure out sony strategy. They don't mkake their cf slots universal, but they DO make the cf form factor. They have palm os on their pdas, symbian on their smart phones.... they release a new model every month or so....

Magic Gate works on non-clie devices that are native to the MS Pro. There for awhile, it appeared that Sony was trying to push MP3 out of the way. Personally, I will have nothing to do with the ATRAC3, no matter how good it is. I'd rather do without :)! When one gets older, they get tired of others trying to control their lives!
