Im sure many of you own the T625C.
Im going to be doing a lot of travelling this summer, so I though i'd buy a PDA device. Im not interested in a state-of-the-art flagship. I want something which will keep me entertained and something which is a pleasure to look at. As usuall, I checked Sony first and discovered the CLIE series. I have been told they are very good, but not very comatable with games.
So I have a number of questions,
Does the T625 come with any games, and is it possible to download games - how many?
Do i need a seperate gadget to play MP3's and is the quality any good? (Also does it play small movie clips)
I would really appreciate any help,
TAP2
im also confused, can you instal pocket pc on a clie?
Because, i've seen many screenshots of the pocket pc interface on a clie....
what are the disadvantages of palmos?

tap2, you can't run pocket pc on a palmos, well in theory you probabaly could one day with a emulator, but currently you can't, its like trying to run mac os on a pc. what you probabaly saw was yishow launcher with the palmxp skin, looks almost like windows xp, heres a screenshot of yishow running palm xp skin:

for games, i personally think clies are the best for games, especially with the enhanced speakers, sounds amazing.. the t615c/625c is perfect for games, great color screen even with the faded out reds, and the amazing clear sounds.. you can fit quite a lot of games on the clie, it has 16megs.. plenty for games, and you could always get a memory stick for some more memory..
ah, that is exactly what i saw. Thanks for your help.
I've been browsing through this site's games section and it looks impressive, are there any simple FPS.
Cood you compare it with anything- say is it better for games than .. gameboy advance for example?
Do you know if the MP3 player is any good?
And are there any screenshots of the games in action?

well i dont think its better then gameboy advanced, but maybe with the controller adapter it might be about the sample quality in the game play, but the quality of the game is probably much better on the GBA. heres a shot of a game called master thief, pretty good quality:

and heres a shot of serious sam, i perfer serious sam:

umm for the mp3 player adapter, i personally never used one, but i think without a memory stick its useless since you could probabaly hold maybe 2-3 songs with 64kbit rate. i think it can handle 128 or 192kbit rate if you have enough space for it.

just to make it clear the t625 does not have mp3 playback ability... u'll need an adapter (extra $80 - 90)
Im confused... there is a model about 50 quid cheaper which does have MP3 playback capability. (PEG-N770C) So are the specs of it the same as the T675C?
As for the games, it looks impressive. much better than I expected. Have you got any more sceenshots.
