Hi I have recently got a Tungsten T3 and wanted to make use of my 1gb sd card and the T3's large screen to watch videos on when i am travelling.
I stumbled upon this program http://divx.ppccool.com/
called pocket Divx decoder which has the tungsten T3 listed to make the settings perfect for sue with it. There are plenty of options for quality and its very very easy to use.
One thing when you are choosing the settings you want it gives you the file size but the actual file size is between a hlaf and 2/3 of this. The quality out put from this is excellent whilst keeping the size of the file low.
For instance an episode of the simpsons converted to divX/Xvid at 700kbp/s video and stereo 64kp/s audio with a resolution of 440 x 300 only takes up 65mb!
The quality i say again is excellent with tcpmp the framerate is a constant 25fps with super sharp picture quality.

If some one has already posted this im sorry and it will work for any 480x320 palm possibly 320x320.

Regards

I have downloaded it and tried to convert a family guy episode. The family guy episode is 40mb but its taking well over three hours. Is this normal?

A more recent version of this goes by the name of Lathe. Good program, but I prefer VEMoDe.

It works a charm. I set it to the lowest settings and converted Wedding Crashers (500mb) to 96mb. And the quality is pretty good.
Thanks alot
