Is it possible to browse HTML files I have loaded onto my memory stick using Net Front. Is there any other app that will?
I read the Net Front manual that came with my NX, but it only tells you how to view items in the cache for offline browsing.

I don't believe netfront allows you to do this but you can use the Picsel Viewer from the NZ/TG to browse HTML files

you can do that by saving your html or mht files exported by IE or Netscape to /Palm/programs/MSWeb
then in your NetFront, go to open page>Page Memo and you can see them all there
hope this helps

I tried copying the files into the root level of the MSWeb directory, but the index.html file did not show up when I tried to open using page memo.
I only have one index.html file that displays simple jpgs.
What am I doing wrong? I even tried a soft reset, but no luck.
Any other suggestions?

have you tried exporting in a mht file (one single file)?
did you also save your image files in the MSWeb directory?
and i assume you are using the latest version of Netfront?
if not, you can get it here:

The last time I used NetFront (the version that shipped with my NX), I was able to save HTML, MHT to MS, then use NetFront's Browse Saved menu (or something like that) to view the files. It worked out pretty well, actually....an alternative is to open the page in MSWord, then save as Word file, then browse with Docs 2 Go. (yeah, it's not a great method ;) )

I have been somewhat successful. I downloaded and installed Net Front from the link mentioned above.
I am able to view the pages by selecting "saved page" from the menu, but it does not want to show all the graphics on the page. It will only display the first one and red x's as if the path the other images is broken. i know the paths are correct because I can view the same files on my desktop computer with no problem.
My index file is a frame set. When I initially open it, it tells me that it cannot open the page. I click ok and it magically displays the index page as it should.
Any guesses as to why it will not display all the images on the other pages? Could it be to processor intensive? The pages are very simple with regards to the code.

I have exactly the same problem. html file + images stored in the MSWEB folder but the images do not display when viewing the page offline.
Has anyone solved this? (do the images need to be stored in a subfolder?).

I tried to view the html file by using MSExport to put the file in MSWeb folder. ALthough I can see the file I can open it as keeps giving an error.
Has anyone used Pocketlink to process HTML files?

The Open error is coming from ZLauncher and it occurs whether or not the Launcher is running or not

You can use Netfront to view html files stored in MSWEB and images stored anywhere on the memory stick - but the html code must contain the location of the image source which includes the name of the memory stick. I posted what the "img src" html structure looks like about two months ago - try searching for the thread to see the complete discussion.

Here's the file structure required to browse html and images on the memory stick using Netfront.
The following worked:
<img src = "file:///"memory stick name"/..../..../imagename.jpg>
Html files must be in /Palm/Programs/MSWEB for NetFront 3.0 to find them, but the images can be anywhere on the memory stick as long as the images source html code is written as shown above. I hadn't realized that the name of the memory stick was required.

Using IE I saved the HTML as "web page, complete", which saves all images in a subfolder. Copy the HTML file, along with the subfolder, to MS and it should render fairly completely.
