The next best thing (to a EB40!)

For less than seventy dollars, this with a USB charging mod or a charging case can be a good solution for many battery problems, not clear yet about the details but overall seems promising.

Thats if you want to lug that around. But its better than carrying around a 4-batt recharger.

True, it's around 3 oz. and dimensions seemed reasonable; it has a mini usb connection as well and I think it charges via USB too. Just another option, a good one IMHO, for those who don't want to, or have the time for, heroically moding a nice UX50 or pay for an expensive, mostly old-battery carrying, EB40.

By the way JAm, how is your TX experience so far?
