Does a new lifedrive come with update2.0???

I am going to buy a new lifedrive. Just wondering if it comes with ROM update2.0. This update was released in December last year. How do I know if it comes with update2.0 or not?

I'm pretty sure that "new" LifeDrives don't come pre-installed with the 2.0 update. I was sent a LifeDrive after the 2.0 update came out when my first unit died around Christmas, and it hadn't yet been updated. I still haven't updated it, actually, due to new issues with dynamic heap (less available after the update, reportedly) and audio hiss (more after the update, though the between-track static problem was fixed, reportedly).

Yes, the new lifedrives come with 2.0 on them. I got mine a few weeks ago brand new from staples, it comes with the update.
