Restoring deleted Memory Stick files

My wife mistakenly deleted some baby pictures from our Memory Stick yesterday and was very distraught.

If anyone else runs into this problem, we found a great freeware program that works wonders. It is a program of Christian Grau called Digital Image Recovery and it can be downloaded from the following website:

thansk mate, I have done this umpteen times and am always trying desperatly to find the files. this would surely help!

shoot!!! only works with digital images!

Backup Buddy will backup your memory stick when you hot sync and I believe that there are a few, free, programs that will just backup the stick. Might want to look and see if these will work for you... I have learned the hard way, like you just did, to copy what I like to my Photo directory...
